Manuel leads our Cat Modelling efforts for the US West Coast. He works alongside brokers to identify our client鈥檚 needs and oversees the execution of catastrophe modeling work including applications for portfolio management, reinsurance pricing, rate-making and rating agency discussions. As a member of Guy Carpenter鈥檚 Cat Innovation Council, Manuel coordinates initiatives that improve our workflows and allow us to gain deeper insights into our client鈥檚 catastrophe model results.
Prior to this role, Manuel led the Natural Hazards and Geosciences Team for the Americas, comprising Guy Carpenter鈥檚 experts in the fields of hydrology, meteorology, engineering, GIS and model development.
Manuel holds an MSc. in Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering.
